Info
Piet is a member of Protonica and lives in Berlin (Germany).
He was introduced to music within a young age.
Playing the piano first his interests shifted to synthesizers and electronic beats
when he was 14 years old. Inspired by the overwhelming Scandinavian
Psytrance in 1999, Piet started to collect lots of CDs & 12inches and wrote his first tracks.
In 2001 he produced together with his musical soulmate Marcus Gebhardt
the first album Psynce Ficktion. At this time he began djing on little parties as well as
at home with friends.
His DJ Sets are marked by flowing and crispy progressive-tracks to set up an unique and lively atmosphere. Since 2003 Piet has been playing at national and international parties.
One of his best loved gigs was on the impressive beach at the Rhythms of Peace Festival 2005 in Morocco.
Together with his friend DJ Ralle (Agitato Records) he launched the music project Protonica in 2004. They met at the radio show 'Waschmaschine' which was presented
by Ralle. Protonica's first track 'Orion Sleepers' has been published by Y.S.E. (Millennium Records).
