I've never particularly liked FL - the interface doesn't feel very clean to me. Personal pref... I know. FL has always felt like a toy to me. Something kiddies use when they starting out. Ableton Live looks quite impressive, but the loop-based features don't really appeal to me. Maybe if somebody wh...

Some very nice stuff indeed... doing some serious speaker damage!!! Hmm - not massively into the proggy stuff - I don't mind a bit of it when the party's getting warmed up. Generally I find the prog stuff a bit too slow (+- 135bpm) for my liking - I start producing tunes at 150bpm. I'm more into pum...

I lived in Melbourne for 4 years and was heavily involved in the scene down there and trust me, it isn't all about prog, maybe the bigger festivals are but you can definitely get a good dose of full-on and darkpsy, there are some top notch crews down there and in my opinion it shits all over the sy...

I'm currently using Reason 3. Gonna be upgrading to Reason 4 + Record very soon. Don't have much requirement to do live recording, but Record has a sweet looking mixer. I've considering going the Cubase route, then running Reason via Rewire. I'm gonna see how far I can go with the Record + Reason 4....

Hi all I currently live in Cape Town, South Africa... but will hopefully soon be migrating to Oz. I am just wondering what the psytrance culture is like in Oz? There is nothing I love more than going to a great outdoor psytrance festival during Summer. Summer is currently in full swing here in Cape ...
