China will continue to receive ample oil, from Russia, Pan Arabia and anywhere else that's selling. Oil prices will continue to skyrocket with increased pressure from developing nations demands. I also feel daunted by the rapidly shifting sands of our age, it's Europa, Eurasia and Oceania playing mu...

The irony in this is that the creation of the modern state of Israel was catalysed by what is considered to be the first terrorist bombing. The King David Hotel bombing, July 22. 1946 Strangely enough, it was Zionist militants who were targeting the British secretariat...there were many civilian cas...

Thanks for feedback folks. I'm pretty jiggy with it scoome, i'd already taken the ATA133 out, to check it wasn't just the usb/firewire interfaces and to perhaps get a better read directly from the IDE. That's when we tried the fdisk/ mbr on the fugger- which to my understanding was kinda redundant s...

Check it out: www.alemarah.com The site existed a week or so ago, still is in Google cache- search it. Not sure if you've heard much about "The Great Firewall of China"- the way the state cen...

Thanks Scoome, I was a bit suss on the MBR approach also, it's an external scratch drive- no OS. A few people have recommended the app. GetDataBack, I imagine this works on reading/restoring the partition table. The reviews I've read state it has success with drives experiencing similar scenarios (l...

Yes, I believe Jaimz wins hands down.

Closely followed by recent 'Owner of a Lonely Heart' Remix by Max Graham and Tim Deluxes 'It just won't do.' Come to think of it, DuranDurans 'Girls on Film' isn't too bad either.

The first step is to impeach Bush, and to spread as much information as possible about the shit he's trying to pull. I'd rather work on that than sit in my room inventing paranoid fantasies. Yes, yes. Delusional fantasies are much more effective- let's all impeach Bush. The Poms are currently in th...

Australia's greenhouse gas emmissions are probably accounted for in half by natural coal fires that have been burning for thousands of years. Under Australia’s Burning Mountain Nature Preserve is a coal fire that has been burning for at least 2,000 years, and possibly as long as 5,500 years. In al...

not really, we already had one limited nuclear war. World War II. lol. WW II wasn't nuclear. WWII was ended by the USA using two Nuclear weapons on civilian targets. that makes it a nuclear war in my opinion.
