As most of you will know Club Surreal has been forced to close and word has it that Isobar has been sold to develop into apartments. If this goes ahead then it's a very big step closer to Salamanca being zoned as a residential area and music getting the boot from there. Also in the pipeline may be an end to late licenses in Tasmania. This effects all of us!!

There is a rally on this Sunday the 18th of December on Parliament lawns at 3pm to show support for music in Hobart. If you give a damn please come down. I'll be spinning some tunes with some other djs too.

There is another reasonably painless way to help as well. You can email your concerns and queries to:

Commissioner for Licensing: Peter Coe
peter.coe@treasury.tas.gov.au
Assistant Commissioner of Police: Jack Johnston
jack.johnston@police.tas.gov.au
General Manager Hobart City Council: Brent Armstrong
wheatleyn@hobartcity.com.au
