that really shit 'ministry of sound' dubstep compilation.

you know something has really truly had the arse-ripped when 'ministry of sound' reckon it is 'underground' and sell a million copies to the robots.
lamest, most average wankers will play it all summer .
thanks very much to the trendy teen dude who mistook himself for cool playing it at the skatepark the other day!

you would probably understand why i wanted to vomit so very badly.

Yes, dubstep continues to be tedious, albeit on a larger scale.

Dubstep - It allows Psy-Trancers (tm) to think that they're "Underground" again.

I'm still struggling to find dubstep I actually like.. The closest being Burial.

What everyone seems to label as dubstep is actually just shitty electro / house remixed with
wobble wobble bass. Whenever anyone mentions dubstep now, I keep my distance.

i guess it wasxn't really that popular 15 years ago [when it went by other names but thanks to the dudes who made it and busted it out for not being bland clueless dribble drones]but i guess it will end up rooted like all 'new sounds' age really quickly and suffer the commercial androgyny process.
i guess it is the syndrome where once it's accepted by facile fashion/commerciality you'll get the boring bandwagon conformity effect going nowhere and turning teeth black.

maybe if you re-brand it 'psy-dubstep' it might get by the 'thought police ' more easily but would it not be shit if it turned out like that?

if you really love your dubs and actual 'underground/groundbreaking' sounds ,you have a responsibility to keep you sources hidden from the lameness and commercialoids.

you've probably already seen what can happen.

good luck to the originators!

I don't give a shit about appearing 'underground'. All I'm looking for is decent
music. I haven't found much yet.

Fuck it. I'll stick to dark drum & bass.

I created a remix called Gabriels Lucifer, gathered from the computers that were around before the MUD, Multi User Dungeon, aka internet system. Its in CD format, email me & arrange to collect it . . . mantra@spraci.zzn.com or follow the link below . . .

http://australiens.net/forum/viewtopic. ... 39&t=17814

Or listen to it on that site called Soundcloud . . .

Oh if you dont want to email me, you can use your dialup modem to Zmodem me with your terminal program at Cyberia BBS, sorry I am not going to give out the phone number of this BBS being it would only attract more attention to Internet hacks who ripped off all of our technology.

Bit of an old thread but you might like Consequence, Klatu, Demon, Biome, Cauze, Kryptic Minds, Sleeper, Truth, DJ Madd, Icicle, Zoobi, District etc, to name just a couple.

A lot of the other shit people linked you is pretty rubbish tbh, though there's a few old tunes there that were good when they dropped. If you dig that old grimey/minimal/lounge vibe then there's always Joker, Skream, Loefah, Youngsta, Digital Mystikz, Silkie, Pinch etc.

Oh and while I'm here I'll shamelessly plug my own tunes & mixes @ www.soundcloud.com/xujih ;]

Yep, thanks for the post.

I've been mostly listening to artists on Hedmuk.

Favourites so far are Biome, Kryptic Minds, Tunnidge, Cyrus, District, Distance.. etc
