1998 was the year (666x3)

Otherwise known as the end of the Fifth Sun & the beginning of the Sixth Sun, this is when the Sun began to expand into a Red Giant. . .

We have 1 billion years left to evacuate the planet, maybe even less.

Mars will be a safe haven for humanity for many billions of years

I was told cars engineered today can do a million kilometres ?

Is this true ?

Of course they can. If you look after and service them. People trading their cars in at 40,000 or 80,000 are wasting their money. An average car does at least 300,000. My Diahastu 1992 Charade has done 420,000km. It only has 3 cyclinders. My 1981 Mitstubishi L300 van is on its way to 500,000km. And I have not really looked after them, nor serviced properly.

Trouble is people think its too expensive to repair a timing belt, or servicing a vehicle, so they just let them go. People treat 2nd hand cars like a bomb, same stoty.

Of course the car market is geared to maximise sales, so its all about the must have the latest and greatest shiny! So vehicles never really get the chance to prove them selfs.

Like when i bought my Chardae I was told that it will last only 6 years, and if I was to trade in every two years, I will be able to keep its value and always have a new car. I was going to go with that, but I found the car so good and capable of doing so many things, that I just kept it, and with a blink of an eye its like now 20 years later. :D
