The Australian desert has enormous renewable energy potential & AUSI, Australien Universal Space Industries is working with the Gemasolar thermosolar plant in spain to initiate their solar power tower & heliostat technology in Australias deserts. It looks like the road rail vehicle will become a reality. Not only can solar thermal power produce electricity, it can also produce hydrogen fuel & this will end our dependence on fossil fuels & nuclear power for the worlds deserts can power the planet.

AUSI, Australien Universal Space Industries have developed a electric car that behaves like a scalextric car. The vehicles run on roads that have a rail at the same level as the road, note its possible that the vehicle does not have to make contact with the rail for a tesla coil can transmit electricity without wires, also AUSI has developed other methods for getting the electricity from the rail to the vehicle, (see attached picture link above with the swing bar), this would do away with cumbersome batteries & a overhead electric grid for dwellings could also obtain electricity from these rails in the road as well.

RREIC Robotic Renewable Energy Infrastructure Construction
