yeah but that is in sydney,

I am going to be in brisbane from 23 dec - 5 jan

and i could fly back just for new years to sydney or melbourne, and then back to brisbane, and then 4 days later fly home to sydney again, but i kinda dont want to do that.

gee azza, everyone knows your going to Brazil and your gunna have the best time - no need to rub it in alright :(

Thanks susan, i have posted in the oztrance forum looking for a lift..

I was thinking about flying back to sydney or melbourne for the parties, but its just going to be too expensive to fly during that time :( bugger

if i end up sitting at my mums house with my grandparents, watching the fireworks on tv whilst they are commenting on "how nice they are this year and oh isnt that just lovely, gee they must have spent alot of money on them" , i will seriously cry and all sharp items will need to be kept under lock and key not to mention i would officially be the biggest loser i know.

Yeah my cousin is working there, so that is an option, but i only want to go for the new years night and come back to bris the next day, so im not sure what my chances of finding a lift would be

I heard Woodford is sold out...? Can anyone confirm this?

If you keep your eyes on the OzTrance LTNYE thread (NNSW section), there are usually a few people offering lifts closer to the night...

Just checked the woodford website, the tickets are not sold out, they are still on sale...
BUT they are not selling any at the door so you have to buy tickets before you go
