OZpartyPeOple Presents Ozstralia Day January 26th 2008

fresh from Gunnamatta Park Cronulla.....11 am-8 pm with a fat afterparty

featuring Black Samurai, Scarabeo, Physix, Turnitup, Qwerty + more tba

We are on a mission to prevent the problems of redneckery encountered in the area one year ago....providing tunes to calm the masses....

After all, everyone needs to doof on Australia Day!!!

So much respect to you guys putting on this party ! ! !

For years ive fantasised about blowing the minds of conventional closed minded cronulla folk (not all) with some psychedelic ! ! ! and australia day of all days. They wont even know what hit them.

I live close by and would love to attend but am currently in india.

It looks great! However due to my terrible case of beachism I can't bring myself to go to a beach that isn't on the Northern Beaches. The occasional eastern beach is ok in very small doses, but the southern beaches are a no go zone for my elite arse.

Definately a great outcome. day went great. beautiful weather - awesome beatz .. syatem crankin till 8.30 pm cops came and sniffed us out but couldnt fault us and left us to party all day..

Totally pirated Australia Day, random drunken peeps walking around the park stopping to dance was awesome!

Ripped my foot open to the tune of some severe pain for the next few days. Thanks double for bein' the medic!

Most people know me to be heavy into the ingestion of various compounds but I was having such a great time that I completely forgot to take anything (except for the usual cringeworthy bottle of kava

)!

yeah well that took quite some time to recover from

i swear we are the only crew that has a warmup party, a party and a recovery party all on the same weekend

thanks heaps to everyone who made it possible....those who were there, we know who you are....

props to JuJu for the decor...Shawny for the setup and Cosmick for his invaluable assistance in times of need

DJs and live act killed it quite simply...Black Samurai you are a freak, Gora was loving it...the grannies couldn't deal with the electroglitch from QWERTY (lol it worked...!!!)..Sinner dropped a few tracks..Mitchy turned up and turned it the hell up..and to be able to negotiate with COnstable Plod (or whatever) and pull off permission for a volume increase, well that is close to unique in my experience

and cheers to everyone who helped with the cleanup....keeping the bottles stashed etc etc....that dancefloor was a radiant clean circle amidst a massive mess so mother nature thanks you

Unreal...i went for a swim at the end of the day and felt phenomenal...everything was still jumping around by the end of next day

full psychedelic experience
