"Once upon a time in a far distant land, a land where the only colours of life were black and white, a land where laughs and smiles were forbidden and where clowns were sent to dungeons, a land where life had to obey strict rules where amusement was controlled by a militia, lived a girl, Eleanor"

Timecode presents the bright new spark of the psychedelic night scene: Principles of flight. After the world-wide acclaim for their first album, Night time luulabies, Principles of flight have decided to further explore the idea behind this release, and work on an extraordinary concept album entitled Chaos Opera.

Remy, 24, and pierre, 26, have developed a unique blend of tech-trance rhythms, psychedelic groove, and night time landscapes which can best be described as "psytechno", and which has been praised by trancers around the the world. As new ambassador of the prestigious South African label Timecode, Principles of Flight have reached and incredibles level of production and composed a true masterpiece which goes far beyond just music.

The project "RAZ"has been emerged in the end of 2006. behind it is Raz kfir from the north part of israel. GET READY FOR THIS musical journey!!!

Nick originally hails from England, but made the move to Byron Bay in 1995, simply for the lifestyle. He quickly became known throughout Australia for his infamous DJ sets, demonstrating an uncanny ability to rock any dancefloor he was placed in front of.His early production work saw him release on seminal trance labels such as Matsuri and PsyHarmonics, under many different aliases, and in collaboration with international rockstars such as Tsuyoshi Suzuki, who is still a huge fan of Taylor’s production work. He has been toured extensively throughout Europe and Asia and is a frequent player in Japan.Nick Taylor has an impressive listing of production credits under his studded belt, and more to come.
”It was also in Byron Bay that Nick found the perfect place to begin Edgecore, his own record label and Promotions Company, and one of Australia’s finest purveyors of homegrown electronic music. Edgecore is busy with event promotion, and some new label releases are on the cards for later in the year.Nick Taylor is one dj who can’t be placed in a single musical category. His sets are a cutting-edge fusion of tech, disco, punk electro and sassy house, creating a style which he aptly labels ‘Fist Funk’. “I like elements of most styles of dance music, and my particular flavour at the moment is a reflection of the punky energy which has been infecting dance music lately.”

Sensient is Tim Larner, from Melbourne, Australia. The Sensient sound ranges from dark minimal, to deep tech-trance, to funky minimal, to smooth morning progressive, but always with a psychedelic bent and an increasing emphasis on pure musicality. Offering deep, intelligent music whilst maintaining the dance floor factor, Sensient absorbs the influence of many other musical styles (minimal, breaks, glitch, jazz fusion etc.) and incorporates them into his productions. He has played worldwide at some of the biggest festivals including Boom, Voov, Universo Parallelo, Rainbow Serpent and Fusion. He has released three solo albums plus many compilations tracks. He is also the owner and manager of Zenon Records, one of the most respected minimal/progressive labels around.

“A fresh breath of intelligently orchestrated brain food.” TETRAMETH- Is the brain child of Melbourne based musician/Back-Yard scientist Peter Hayes. His laboratory is located in the outer suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Peter has been working in the laboratory since 2003, cooking a potent brew of eclectic psychedelic progressive. Mastering the art of music & several instruments growing up, making the shift from playing/touring in bands, to writing and producing a studio was an inevitable and easy transition. Tetrameth's sound has been described as "An extremely original concoction of everything." Cleverly constructed progressive psy-trance with an unmistakably organic undertone. The end result is a beast of its own. Peter is a graduated musician, with a diploma in contemporary music, & majored on guitar at the "Conservatorium of Music". Playing/touring in bands for several years, Peter is producing psy trance at a world-class level, truly pushing and surpassing boundaries previously set within the genre. Tetrameth's releases include:

Shadow Fx was created in 2002 by 27 year old James Hayes from Melbourne, Australia. James started his musical career studying and playing drums and guitar in high school. Then at the age of seventeen he discovered psytrance in and around the famous trance hotspot of Byron Bay. After listening to and Djing the music for several years, he decided to move to Melbourne and make a serious effort to put his own mark on the scene. He set himself up with a small studio and started to produce full time, leading him to the smooth and refined sound for which he is known today. Described as a blend of deep, funky, morning grooves that are distinctively shaped from the Zenon sound. Intricate percussion lines interplay with emotive synth lines, then pieced together in the most intelligent of progressive structures. In recent years he has played at many parties all over Australia, as well as in Europe, North & South America and New Zealand. In 2008 he was nominated for beatport's artist of the year award. He has also released compilation tracks on ZMA, Iboga, Zenon, Bio-sine, plus on Cosmic Conspiracy records with his brother Tetrameth. His debut album ‘Direct Influence’ was released on Zenon Records in July of 2007.

Felix Greenlees aka Terrafractyl has been playing and writing music for as long as he can remember. Brought up on a diet of Classical, Opera and Jazz he eventually went on to play Bassoon in several professional orchestras around Australia.
He has also played piano for most of his life, and was over the moon when he discovered a genre of music into which he could incorporate all the different types of music he had grown to love.
It was called Goa-trance.
Since then Felix never looked back, and he is now one of the most prominent and sought after psytrance performers in Australia.
He has perormed at most of the major festivals in Australia, and has been in constant demand for the past 3 years all around the country to play at parties of all shapes and sizes.
Most recently Felix played at festivals for Vertigo records in Russia and Ukraine.
His Debut album was released on Sundance Records in April this year and He has released tracks on compilations for 5 labels around the world including Sundance, Vertigo, Adapted, Regen, and Psynuematix records. He also has upcoming releases on Millenium records, Morning monsters and Up records.
Latley Felix has been spending more time expanding his other projects, Mental extensions, Hypnagog and free standing pickles.
but psytrance is wedged firmly in his soul... and, he suspects it may always be.
He his currently hard at work putting the finishing touches on the Mental Extensions debut Album 'Inner Reality', to be released very soon on UP records, and is also working on the 2nd Terrafractyl album to be released on Vertigo Records, hopefully by early 2010 :)

Hefty Output met in 1984 at gumbuya park. their mutual passion for trousers led to a dynamic friendship. tim's amazing work on the glockenspiel combined with dan's ability to play drums at a sensible volume led to the bands formation.
After brief jail sentances for using a burnt copy of "music 2000" on a chipped playstation at their mate steve's house (they found it in the bargain bin at eb games for ten bucks).

Eli and Jesse were manufactured inside the bowels of a top secret laboratory for the purpose of being super soldiers hell bent on world domination. After the mad scientists realized the true nature of the monsters they had created they tried to destroy the foul creatures they had spawned but were overwhelmed by the sonic insanity and bled to death from their ears. To this day the location of Eli and Jess is unknown, but their presence on the internet is evidence that the world is still not safe from the global menace lurking around the corner.

well spotted Alex :bounce:

"A blue moon is a full moon that is not timed to the regular monthly pattern.
Most years have twelve full moons which occur approximately monthly, but
in addition to those twelve full lunar cycles, each calendar year contains an
excess of roughly eleven days. The extra days accumulate, so that every two
or three years (on average about every 2.7154 years ), there is an extra full moon.
The extra moon is called a "blue moon." "

how special !
and luckily, we are to be outdoors on that night - all night :atom:
