REGROWTH FESTIVAL 2011 - REGEN - Phase 6 - 22-25th APRIL
R.E.G.E.N are back to celebrate another successive year.
After the full cycle of seasons, the Regrowth festival returns for its 6th year anniversary and has slightly re-formatted to include another night of celebration.
Including 3 nights & 4 days of music, workshops, cinema, tree planting and good times over the Anzac/Easter long weekend : 22-25th of April 2011
This will definately be the place to sink your roots over this extended long weekend.
With the help of our good friends SOS (dragon dreaming festival) we will be running 2 big stages to showcase a wide range of international, interstate and local artists including a massive line up of bands, live electronic acts and DJs. With the aim of providing something for everyone there will be a multitude of music genres on offer including psychedelic and progressive trance, dubstep, techno, minimal, glitch hop, breaks, wobbly beats, chill, dub reggae, folk, gypsy, and the undefinable!
With REGEN's thumping DB sound system tuned to perfection by Secret Weapon, expert lighting & visuals show, and Decor extravaganza, 2011 is going to be AWESOME!
In addition to this numerous workshops, a cinema, a healing/lifestyle area, and a market village will spark the senses.
And last but not least the re-vegetation project will again give you the opportunity to be part of improving the biodiversity of the region. We will be continuing our works from last year and with everyone's help we aim to get a few more thousand trees in the ground to add to the total of 55,000 trees planted so far at REGEN events.
As always the event will be fully sustainable and aim to have a positive impact on the planet.
All this on a beautiful lush private property in the Southern Tablelands near the charismatic town of Braidwood.
Plenty of great camping areas and easy access road in.
Early bird tickets now available for tha bargain price of $65!
Only a limited release so better get in quick.

Ae Ventura is one of Israel's biggest talents in electronic music and is considered among the top progressive trance artists in the world making him the winner of Beatport Music awards two times in a row in 2008 and 2009 under the Psytrance category. Formerly half of the legendary psytrance duo "Psysex", his taste moved towards the slower groovier side of music and with a fusion of the two styles the Ace Ventura project was born. With releases on Flow, Domo, Echoes, Blue Tunes, Spintwist, HOMmega and Iboga Records, 2 hugely popular albums and a brand new album set for release in 2011, Ace Ventura is certain to create something special for the dancefloor at the Regrowth Festival.
Mr Squatch (New Zealand, Delicious Music) http://www.deliciousmusic.co.nz/artists/mrsquatch

Sun in Aquarius (NNSW, Enig'matik Records) http://www.myspace.com/suninaquarius
Acid drenched basslines and intelligent sampling to create a truly origional aural experience. Interpulse (Melbourne, Open records) http://www.myspace.com/interpulse
Interpulse has 15 years experience producing electronica. Richie is also known for his 8 years with live, tribal trance duo, Mantrix, who played live at many major Australian outdoor festivals and produced a handful of albums. Well well well,it's been a VVVeeeeeeeeeee....wwwwwyyyy long time for me now, sooo... long in fact that many of you have probably forgotten who i am,but i must say the itch is becoming unbearable and i can't think of a better place to scratch it than a REGROWTH party ? and the Southern Highlands just makes it more tempting! Any hints as to the line up yet ? Also g'day to a few of the boys, Dave, Max, Shane hope you are all well, cheers Gillie

im a bit out of the loop...is there any chance of using the gorge
site again or has that time passed for now?
meditating to goa gil's set while watching the clouds flow below me
has been one of my favourite experiences of my life so far without a doubt!

Yo !
There is a chance to use the gorge site again, but not this year. Instead we'll be on another lush property just a bit further south, with better access and more trees.
Lookin 4 ward to this episode in the REGEN story.

G'day Gillie! Too right it's been a long time, will be awesome to have you along bro!
Line up hints will be coming out over the next couple of months.
Every year more than half a million hectares of Australian bushland are bulldozed, chained or poisoned to 'improve' land for agriculture. This is the greatest single threat to biodiversity in the nation.
