Ok so it's not psytrance but it is doof-assisted and electronic -
and it is to help the banana benders swim not sink!
So if you are in newcastle tomorrow:

Saturday January 29: 11am
$5+ Donation

In 2007 Newcastle experienced first-hand severe flooding and the devastation that is associated with it. In 2011 nearly all of QLD is underwater. Please help raise much needed funds for the victims of this disaster by attending Rain Dance a music event being held at Newcastle Foreshore to raise money for the Salvation Army Flood Appeal. With music by the cream of Newcastle's DJ crop, displays by local artists and entertainment from the livesites gang, it’s set to be a great day for a great cause.

Donations will be collected upon entry and throughout the day.

More information as it comes but spread the word!

So far we have DJs:

DOVER 11 am-12 pm
NICK GURR 12-1 pm
KATO 3-4 pm

18+ only!

The Livesites crew will be providing family friendly entertainment within the venue until 1PM, along with other family entertainment yet to be confirmed on the main stage until Midday when the DJ's will take over. So feel free to bring the family down and check it out early on, then head over to the amusement carnival where all proceeds are also going to the flood appeal.

If you're unable to come and spend the day at the event, but still want to help out. Donations will be able to be made on the door or through any of the ticket vendors.

Official AFTER PARTY at The Clarendon Hotel from 5pm!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature and location of this event it will be strictly alcohol free, and intoxicated persons will be refused entry. People under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
