BACK FOR 2006...
The Elixir legend returns for 2006 bringing together different party collectives and promoters to deliver another FREE, full-moon, multi-stage community event amidst an enchanted forest close to Sydney.

Expect a journey to another dimension soothed by ambient and tribal beats, melodic psytrance, electro, doof, breaks, drum n bass, hip-hop, progressive, hard tekno and acid.

Elixir has grown into a well known, beautiful, friendly and good-vibe, Sydney-based, outdoor event that continues to search for new talent, performers and smiles to give back to the people for no cost. Elixir is about diversity, community, freedom, happiness and of course, the magic of music.

Explore the markets for treasures, or chill out and recharge with a cup of hot chai and scrumptious munchies from the Elixir cafe.

The only thing missing is your magic ;)

GET INVOLVED
Right now we're keen to find like-minded people who'd like to get involved in putting something back into our community. If you'd like to help build the party, manage aspects, run a stall, play on one of the stages, display your visual artwork or would just like to get involved anyway you can, send an email to elixir@warpedculture.com.

One of the best is back again!!!

Looking forward to this.... If only liquid lab would come back. Elixir and Liquid lab parties are what started my love affair with psy.

well the important bit is there will be a bit of " diversity","co-operation",
"freedom" and a bit of stuff to poke fun at.
nice that "elixure "has the cred to draw out all-sorts of fun humans for a sticky beak.

I'll cum if I can get a root.

I'd prefer the South American Awaska root, but if thats not possible just a plain ordinary hippy chick root would do....

Also...

At Elixir 7, Sensum and DJ Sylk will be performing the debut set of their new act:

Alumaé
Alumaé to become light

Is an evolving collaboration between Russ Newton (Sensum) and John H-S (Sylk). As well as writing music, Alumaé are applying there combined talents to develop an extended performance. Fusing their own material performed live with other artists work DJ-ed into the mix.

The aim is to maintain the originality of live performance while adding the DJs flexibility of response to the dancers.

Sensum: Has been producing since 2002 His debut album Nocturnal Transmissions was released on ZMA in 2005 he has also released tracks on; Nervine records, Solarsiv records, Froggle records & Yellow Sunshine Explosion After returning to Sydney in 2003 he quickly became known for tightly produced progressive sounds with a darker edge.

Sylk: began DJing in 1998 and founded Trancendance Productions in 1999. One of the first DJs in Sydney to pick up the progressive sound, Sylks style tends towards up tempo morning sounds. Sylk weaves the tunes into a coherent and uplifting journey through empathy and interaction with the dancers.

Check them out on The Enchanted Forest stage for a morning supa-stomp set!!! :D
