This album is pretty good with a great mix of tracks! Definately a good starting block for some wobble and bass

The problem with Australia is that their isn't enough responsibility put on the person who decides to do something stupid. And when they do something stupid its just accepted.

However I don't expect this to change at all because this country is run by idiots and its citizens simply do not know any better.

And so I am beginning to steer clear of the general public and any situation which lands me near the idiots that like to cause shit. Actually i guess I've done that for a while. But since seeing other countries and how people behave in various situations within those countries its really just nailed this bastard for me.

Australia's general public is mostly pathetic. I really don't have much if any faith in the majority of it.

Its so shit that I doubt 95% of the people at earthdance would have even cared at all, let alone paid attention to, any message that the event might have actually tried to convey.

Maybe you should swap 'Australia' for 'Sydney' because the Melbourne one, from what I heard (only year I couldn't go so far), was rad even though they had to deal with an inferior site this year.... And for the last 5 years or so they've been consistently getting 'Perfect Party' reviews.

Sydney does not equal Australia.

Also... I question the sanity of deciding to put a major event on 7 weeks before it is meant to run.... you need a good 3-4 months as far as I understand it.

Anyway, I just got annoyed at the fact that someone thought that this was an australia wide thing.... it isn't, in fact Melbourne Earthdance was at Federation Square two years in a row! And it was free! You can't get more open to abuse than that.

The best earthdance was 2006...no fences or security, no queues/restrictions etc. Sydney Park was the best venue...shame it had to be moved to something smaller this year...I enjoyed the psy stage, the shade was nice although the dance floor could have been placed somewhere other than right on a heap of tree roots..was v disappointed about it being shut down early...and the ridiculous prices for food, drinks, etc...even despite all the negatives I still had an awesome day :)

Best Earthdance was when it was still out in the bush, and had Shift playing... That was one hell of a party!

1998 on a hill near Newcastle? and it rained
2000 near Wisemans Ferry, big log next to dance floor
2001 next to river in Mittagong
2002 on property near Goulburn? I led a reiki course there
2005 Sydney Park
2006 Sydney Park
2007 had good intentions to go somewhere near Tampa but never made it.

ED by Trancendance & Jaimz are the ones that stand out for me

You got your years a bit mixed up.

I don't think there was one in 1998.

1999 was Wisemans Ferry, with Ollie Wisdom. It rained.
2000 was Wollondilly River Station (near Mittagong). That was huge, the biggest outdoor one.
2001 was at Colo I think. The only one I didn't go to.
2002 was at Sarah's parents place near Goulburn (I think it was near Goulburn - it was about three hours away)
2003 was at the 4WD park at Colo with Shift
2004 - 2007 were all at Sydney Park
2008 was at Prince Alfred Park.
