if life is how we make it, im carrying the energy from that weekend, through to the end!

That is what I thought after my psychedelic experience at Goa Gil. Face it, it will disappear, vanish like beautiful threads of mist amongst old growth trees, ephemeral like dreams and momentary euphoria.

You will simply have to have many such enriching moments; just like mists, and just like the fragrances of springtime blossoms, they are fleeting but delightful to the heart.

wow i've never come across anyone who seems to be on as much of an eternal bummer as you man.

you are hilarious. yes i am laughing at you. maybe you could try doing the same a bit more often...

When your burning rage settles into a warm glow, reflective of the good you're striving to achieve, you'll know you're on the right track.

But don't expect that to happen any time soon. We're talking years of commitment with many hours given each day, most to a keyboard and a computer screen.

But people like you - real fuckwits, you know, who stick their heads in the ground and say, 'let it all burn' - would not have a clue about real change.

You just get in the way!

if you don't like it then stay at home and pull the wings of flys or what ever it is you do. thats the first time i've been told that i'm money hungery...
if i had my way it'll all be free but that is a bit far away in our current society. the 'scene' as you put it wasn't born out of rebellion either..not entirely. i think it calls on a much more innate and primal source than that. people have been coming together and dancing for a very long time the only difference with the way we do it is our technology. we have things with flashy lights and dials and levers and buttons and things and stuff ohh shinny....

where was i? oh yes i was telling you off..

ha try shouting this in the main street of main stream alcholol drenched clubs and pubs you would most likey get punched out.

the doof scene is the only place i found after years of searching that i could actually be myself and express whatever i was feeling...and people accepted who i was and were cool with my whackness and helped me get over myself. what i'm getting at here is this is that life without doof would be really crap and sneaking in to doofs is a bit shit don't do that thats not nice...

no dogs means no dogs. i like dogs it not their fault but rules are rules and we have to make the people who make the rules feel that we are following them or they can shut us down. as much as i like guerrilla style doofs our comunity would suffer a bit if we couldnt have the occasional big hoo haa rocking festival from time to time. and when you go this big and spend 60 grand. you just can't afford to fuck about with the authorities. you have to go completely legal follow the rules cause this sort of thing does not fly under the radar.

i hope that sinks in. i also hope you enjoyed your self at dragon dreaming even though you stole from hardworking passionate people. the correct thing to do is donate some money into the dragon dreaming bank account. all of it's contents goes into dragon dreaming 2010, just for our community because we love it and want people to experience cosmic love and tribal connection while looking at cool stuff and dancing to awesome tunes, and doing so costs money. you can make your donation by contacting us through our website. http://www.dragondreaming.net. we won't hold any judgement against you at all. thats what i would do if i were you, cause karma can kick your arse... the universe is bigger than you and wears a size infinity steal caped boot

I shot the sheriff by Bob Marley

I shot the sheriff
But I didn't shoot no deputy, oh no! Oh!
I shot the sheriff
But I didn't shoot no deputy, ooh, ooh, oo-ooh.)
Yeah! All around in my home town,
They're tryin' to track me down;
They say they want to bring me in guilty
For the killing of a deputy,
For the life of a deputy.
But I say:

Oh, now, now. Oh!
(I shot the sheriff.) - the sheriff.
(But I swear it was in selfdefence.)
Oh, no! (Ooh, ooh, oo-oh) Yeah!
I say: I shot the sheriff - Oh, Lord! -
(And they say it is a capital offence.)
Yeah! (Ooh, ooh, oo-oh) Yeah!

Sheriff John Brown always hated me,
For what, I don't know:
Every time I plant a seed,
He said kill it before it grow -
He said kill them before they grow.
And so:

Read it in the news:
(I shot the sheriff.) Oh, Lord!
(But I swear it was in self-defence.)
Where was the deputy? (Oo-oo-oh)
I say: I shot the sheriff,
But I swear it was in selfdefence. (Oo-oh) Yeah!

Freedom came my way one day
And I started out of town, yeah!
All of a sudden I saw sheriff John Brown
Aiming to shoot me down,
So I shot - I shot - I shot him down and I say:
If I am guilty I will pay.

(I shot the sheriff,)
But I say (But I didn't shoot no deputy),
I didn't shoot no deputy (oh, no-oh), oh no!
(I shot the sheriff.) I did!
But I didn't shoot no deputy. Oh! (Oo-oo-ooh)

Reflexes had got the better of me
And what is to be must be:
Every day the bucket a-go a well,
One day the bottom a-go drop out,
One day the bottom a-go drop out.
I say:

I - I - I - I shot the sheriff.
Lord, I didn't shot the deputy. Yeah!
I - I (shot the sheriff) -
But I didn't shoot no deputy, yeah! No, yeah!

Unfortunately after discussions due to current artistic and professional differences with management, I have decided this is the last Dragon Dreaming/REGEN event I will attend and go my own separate way. All the best for the future boys.

You Can't Bring Me Down by Suicidal Tendencies

What the hell's going on around here?
First off-let's take it from the start
Straight out-can't change what's in my heart
No one-can tear my beliefs apart, you can't bring me
You aint-never seen no one like me
Prevail-regardless what the cost might be
Power-flows inside of me, you can't bring me
Never-fall as long as I try
Refuse-to be part of your lie
Even-if it means I die, you can't bring me

You can't bring me down!
Who the hell you calling crazy?
You wouldn't know what crazy was if Charles Manson
...was eating Fruit Loops on your front porch

Time out-let's get something clear
I speak-more truth than you want to hear
Scapegoat-to cover up your fear, you can't bring me
You aint-never seen so much might
Fight for-what I know is right
What up-you got yourself a fight, you can't bring me
Stand up-we'll all sing along
Together-aint nothin' as strong
Won't quit-we aint in the wrong, you can't bring me

You can't bring me down!

Bring me down - you can't bring me down!
Bring me down - you can't bring me down, no!
Bring me down - you can't bring me down!
Bring me down - you can't bring me down, you can't bring me
down!

Tell them what's up rock!
You can't bring me down!

Bring me down - you can't bring me down!
Bring me down - you can't bring me down, no!
Bring me down - you can't bring me down!
Bring me down - you can't bring me down, you can't bring me
down!

So why you trying to bring me
So why you trying to bring
Well you can't bring me down

Just cause you don't understand what's going on
...don't mean it don't make no sense
And just cause you don't like it,...don't mean it aint no good

And let me tell you something

Before you go taking a walk in my world,
...you better take a look at the real world
Cause this aint no Mr. Rogers Neighborhood
Can you say "feel like shit?"
Yea maybe sometimes I do feel like shit
I aint happy about it, but I'd rather feel like shit
...than be full of shit!
And if I offended you, Oh I'm sorry
But, maybe you needed to be offended
But here's my apology and one more thing...Fuck you!
Cause you can't bring me down

Bring me down - you can't bring me down!
Bring me down - you can't bring me down, no!
Bring me down - you can't bring me down!
Bring me down - you can't bring me down, you can't bring me
down!

You can't bring me down!

Suicidal!!!

To inject a better vibe into the thread... thank you to everyone who organised, played & enjoyed this. It was beautiful and we enjoyed all of it but especially the art and the happy people (almost) everywhere

Pete your lighting etc was beautiful as it always is. People probably don't acknowledge the really vital role you play in creating moods to travel to in our multiverse. THANK YOU ESPECIALLY!!!

you all rock, keep the dreaming alive :D hehe

I had a spiggin' awesome time at Dragon Dreaming. Couldn't wipe the grin off my face come Monday when there were still so many happy, smiling, muddy faces about the place.
Was never short of a hot meal, a drink, a smoke, a friend, fucking awesome music or a place to sit and have a rest. There were some fantastic costumes running around on people and so cool to see everyone really getting into the experience. Loved that there were so many little kids around with their families and that there were so many up and comers (16ish and heaps of em!) at the event - it's such a magical and supportive community to be a part of and to see it grow so much in the last few years gives me hope that one day we may just make it.
To everyone involved in pulling it off, high five! I've been dremaing nearly every night that I'm back there and the dreams follow me through the day.
My only regret, after a few too many beers on Sunday I went for a kip but managed to sleep through the opening ceremony. Woke up half on-half off the matress, tent wide open with muddy gumboots still on and could hear the laughter yoga in full swing... My bad.

AND I REALISE YOU GUYS PUT A LOT OF EFFORT INTO THAT ...EVEN MORE SO AS IT WAS LEGAL AND ALL THE RED TAPE YOU PROBABLY HAVE TO DEAL WITH.
