Green Stage was awesome. Hardstyle hasn't changed since the lat Defqon in 2009.

Also, their main form of avertising was getting a few hundred promoters to stick stickers everywhere, sell tickets, as well as other stuff. They have a pretty insane marketing team.

words are powerful miss jade

i would not be putting bible teachings into my set i was going
to play to tens of thousands of people unless i had a specific intention

I've been to a large number of hard dance events over the years. Defqon 1 Sydney was one of the better hard dance events I've ever been to. Well organised, phenomenal production and well picked djs/acts. I thought the green stage was an excellent addition to an event that would of otherwise needed some music balance. A lot of past hard dance events I've been to in the past would of had a house stage instead to give it that balance.

I spent most of my day heading between the black stage, green stage and orange (I think it was orange lol) stage. All my favourite genres within stumbling distance of each other. Im not particularly a fan of hardstyle but gave defqon1 a go this year because so many mates (at least half of whom hate hardstyle) went to last years and all came back saying it was unreal. If I can afford it again I'm definitely going again next year.
