Party Details ::::::: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Positronic is a bush party and landcare event happening at conondale, in the sunshine coast hinterland. This event will continue the beautiful fusion of landcare and creative culture seen at several events in the area over the past few years, coming together as a community to improve the local ecology and celebrate with a night of music and dance. On this occasion we will be primarily focussed on wackytobaccy removal: taking out as much lantana as possible to open the site up and make space for future tree planting. The gathering will begin friday, with a night of chilled music and bush cinema for those who wish to arrive early and be part of the landcare work on saturday. There is plenty of room for camping on-site for you to come and make your space. Work starts 9am saturday morning and will run throughout the day. Music on saturday starts at sundown, with an organic opening performance and from there will follow a full journey of musical genres with amazing visuals and installations provided by local, interstate and international artists. There will be no moon on the saturday night so bring a torch, and be sure your own inner light is shining bright! Lush organic vegan food will be available, provided with maximum love by the Forest cafe. Sound system will be provided by megablast. Twisted Evil (son of megablast) Entry is $10 for those who arrive by 10 am on saturday and help with the landcare work or $25 for party-goers. There will be $20 presolds available for this event. These will be available from gooble warming from the 8th of november onwards or by emailing positronic2004@yahoo.com.au If you aren't coming for the landcare, please consider buying a pre-sold. its cheaper for you and it makes my life easier AND if there's a good response to the presolds, the production values will be stepped up a few notches. Very Happy Entry to this event is on the condition that you are responsible for your own actions, and the people you bring with you. No liability can be accepted by the landowner or organisers. ++ Things to bring::: ++ for landcare work: gloves, long sleeves, sunscreen, hat, cutting tools, water ++ for partying: torch, blankets, more water, a bag for your rubbish, big smiles!! ++ things to leave at home: pets, alcohol, glass, fightin' words >> Directions::: Directions wil be available on the flyers available soon, and will get posted online a few days before the event. The party will be at conondale, the site used for autumnatic and a few other parties. This is a diverse vibes event – forget what you know, come feel the flow :]
