Currently raising a lot of interest as a fresh back to back DJ team, Sally Doolally and Goetzlich play in camouflage together as Beauty & the Beat. Since their first 'Far Out' meeting they have played together on many parties all over Germany, as well having one Australian tour under theirs belts and another one planned for the near future. Their infusion of musical styles combined with their charisma behind the decks has taken them to play on some well known international dance festivals including Rainbow Serpent, Exodus, Wonderland, Dance-a-Delic and Antaris-Project. After appearing on KIS FM Jakarta's beauty and the beat show hosted by Jason Rock (June 2004) this in when Sally and Goetz were inspired to change their combined dj name to Beauty & the Beat, just in time for a booking at 66 Club in Bali. The music in Beauty & the Beats record bags include a lot of progressive sounds infused with touches of groovy electro, funky house, phat breaks and trance. Background info: DJ Sally Doolally was born in the UK and has been mixing music together since the early 90s, later launching herself professionally as a DJ in 1998 and since growing to be one of the best known female trance DJs in the world. Sally has previously worked with record labels Dragonfly, USTA and Transient representing them as a label dj all over the planet in countries like: Australia, Japan, Mexico, Portugal, Israel, Switzerland, Thailand, India, Austria, Finland, France, Belgium, UK, New Zealand, Indonesia, Macedonia, Sweden, Bulgaria, Majorca, South Africa, Bali and Germany . Sally has played on many of the big trance festivals like Voov-Experience, Boom Festival, Lovefield, Fusion, Rainbow Serpent, Outback Eclipse Festival, Antaris-Project, Koh Phangan 2002, Summer Dreaming and Shiva Moon. Sally is based in Germany where she is a very popular 'djane' and working with German record label Plastik Park as a label dj currently showcasing 8 progressive bombs from her case in her latest compilation CD - Headspace (released Oct 2005). Goetzlich has been a vinyl junkie for over 11 years and has made a solid name for himself in Germany as a progressive and break beat DJ. His sound is fresh, funky and groovy and has taken him to play internationally in Australia, Thailand, Goa, Bali, Portugal, Belgium, Holland and Spain. Goetzlich has played on European festivals Dance-A-Delic, Klosterrode and Wonderland as well as at the famous Full Moon parties on Koh Phangan and as a regular guest dj at The Backyard. In Germany Goetz is also an active member of Tonson.de Colognes main break beat community. Goetz makes occasional parties himself under the banner of Far Out as well as some of his own music production under the name Switchbox. Sally and Goetz are both known for playing eclectic DJ sets and by playing together they break more boundaries with their musical union of Beauty & the Beat.
