TETRAMETH-is Peter Hayes,musician & producer based in Melbourne,Australia. Peter has been producing his own brand of slick psychedelic trance since around August 2003.Learning to play several instruments growing up,making the shift from playing in bands ,to writting and producing in a studio was an inevitable and easy transition. Tetrameth's sound has been described as an extremly original concoction. Cleverly constructed progressive psy-trance with an unmistakably organic undertone.Add a technical edge ,truly making the end result a beast of its own. Peter graduated with a diploma in contemporary music,majoring in guitar at the "Conservatorium of Music" on the North Coast of NSW. Playing in bands for several years, Peter is producing psy trance at a world-class level, truly pushing and surpassing boundaries previously set within the genre.A genre or style he likes to call "Technical Progressive". Tetrameth's releases include: *"The Quickening" on the "Intelligent Manipulation" compilation through Zenon records (Feb 2005). *"Escape Sequence," written & produced by Tetrameth & Shadow Fx released on "Contact Lens" (march 2005), a compilation put together by New Zealand label Cosmic Conspiricy. *"Full Floyd Rig" & "Liquid Crop Duster" two Tetrameth colaborations both released on Shadow Fx' 2007 release "Direct Influence".Both of these tracks stayed in Beatport's top 10 for several weeks,"Full floyd Rig" staying at number1 for over 3 weeks. *"Grinder Reminder" was released in November 2007 on the Zenon comp "Bushfood".A compolation featuring all Australian artists."Grinder Reminder" made it to beatports number3 and remained in the top 10 for several weeks. In April 2006 Tetrameth's debut album "Psycological Pyrotechnics" on Zenon Records,and since then has been playing festivals all over the world treating audiences to a fresh breath of intelligent,psychedelic,morning voodoo.
